Lucky the helpful dog has become a hit in his home town after learning to pick up rubbish.

After picking up the litter, he then drops in the nearest bin.

The three-year-old Kelpie-Doberman cross performs his rubbish pick in parks in Gloucester after being trained by owner William Keating.

‘I only showed him how to do it twice,’ he said.

If Lucky finds a glass bottle he barks so Mr Keating can check for broken shards. (Metro)
