Prisoners forced to have teeth pulled out with no anaesthetic/菲囚犯沒麻醉就被拔牙 Jul 29

With the pain etched across their faces, these inmates are forced to have their teeth extracted with no anaesthetic.

It is part of a medical services programme which offers free dental care to prisoners with financial difficulties in Manila, Philippines.

The check-ups, and necessary treatment, are carried out at the Quezon City Jail in full view of other inmates, who are pictured wearing their regulation yellow T-shirts.

They aren’t even allowed drugs to ease their agony as professional dentists pulled out their teeth using what appears to be a pair of pliers. (Mail Online)
